In 2009, the VABC helped out the Virginia Festival of the Book by designing and producing its “Headline Event” passes. This pass was designed on a computer, saved as a pdf, then sent to our friends at Boxcar Press who converted it to a reversed polymer image. We can then print with the polymer using our vintage Vandercook. This gives us more design flexibility with all of the sensory appeal of traditionally letterpressed ephemera. Maybe you bought one!
