Open Shop Hours

The VABC Shop is open for use by all non-key-holding members during regular Art Box business hours (M-F 9:30 – 5:30 & Sat. 10:00 – 4:00)

1. Members must Sign-in and fill out Font Tracking Forms.

2. Members may use (unsupervised) all equipment that they have been approved “licensed” to operate.

3. Unless arranged for, you are expected to provide all materials needed to complete your project .

4. Shop should be left in better order than you found it.

5. Unless you’re a Key-holder, please respect Art Box hours. (AB employees lock-up and leave at closing. There is no provision for you staying later)

6. Be sure that the VABC outside door is locked when you leave.

To reserve press time and get on this schedule…
1.  Non-Keyholders needing supervised printing please e-mail gsqueen@comcast.net to arrange times.
2. To avoid potential conflicts, Press Group and Licensed operators should also reserve press time (for any/all usage).

Note:
Press use on Wednesdays 5:30-7:00 is generally reserved for Block Night.
Press use during Saturday “Open Shop Hours”, 12:00-4:00 should be reserved by e-mail gsqueen@comcast.net.

Additional Pre-New Year Notes:
A number of members have indicated a desire to print between now and the New Year…
While there’s ample opportunity to do so…
It’s most important that everyone schedules their desired press and press time (this includes “licensed/certified/press-group” operators).

Already scheduled are classes and workshops utilizing our presses and shop resources along with members planning projects…
All on pre-Christmass deadlines!

In past years, our most limited resource, around this time of year, is arranging for licensed members to help supervise press use.

For those of you who will require assistance, it’s most important that you contact me (sooner than latter) for project planning and to schedule your time.
