Rosemary and Rue, an original poem by the artist, begins “I put my childhood in a box.” This interactive book contains twenty pages of text that lift out to reveal a variety of photographs and related objects; each box includes a unique arrowhead found near the artist’s hometown in East Tennessee. The artist adds: “The title hints at Ophelia’s herbs; rosemary and remembrance, and something of the multivalent meaning of rue.”
