Summer is membership time at the VABC. We encourage all members to consider the benefits of renewing by this July, and those who are curious to join in the fun. What price do you put on the thoughtful creations, the fascinating conversations, the passionate companions, and the easy access to our unique book and printmaking resources?
Proudly, we can say $120/year will do. Members:
–receive updates from the VABC list serve and informative monthly newsletters
–share shop resources and have access to presses and equipment you are licensed to operate
-can participate in the 2016 collaborative project “Handmade Harvest”
-receive discounts on classes (many new offerings are in the works)
–take pride in building this amazing community resource
Consider these add-ons:
$180/year-Member Plus. A flat file in the VABC can be a great way to keep a project moving without all the schlepping. Add $60 to your membership and let your projects stretch out in 24″ x 36″ x 2″ comfort.
$300-500/year–Professional Membership. You conduct business through the VABC, either sales in the upstairs space or by selling your work/services. All benefits of membership apply, plus new perks of promotion through the VABC newsletter. Our pilot project involves taking on twelve professional members. $300-$500/month-Partner, Art on Ivy. Rental arrangements for artist’s studios or small businesses in some of Art on Ivy’s available flex-space. Interested parties may inquire with Kevin McFadden, .

Checks can be made out to “VFH” (please include “VABC membership” in the remark line), mailed to Virginia Foundation for the Humanities / 145 Ednam Drive/ Charlottesville VA 22903, or dropped off in the glass box during open hours. NOTE: memberships are fees for access and services, so are not recognized as tax-exempt donations.
