The bookmaking workshop focused on the construction of a continuous-accordion carousel book. 
Book artists use cutouts, decorative paper, and design elements to convert the basic structures, shown in the photograph, to create a series of three-dimensional “scenes” or “images.” 
Book covers can be added so that the book closes into a standard case binding.  Alternately, soft covers can be added and the whole book fitted into a slip case.
